Getting to Guanacaste is easy. The closest airport is Liberia International Airport (LIR), which offers direct flights from major gateway cities. Las Catalinas is a car-free town, but have no fear! Santarena Hotel can arrange your rides to and from the airport, whether it be by car or helicopter. If being chauffeured isn’t your thing, take the adventurous Monkey Trail (4WD needed!) or the low-key, slighter longer, paved route through Belen.
